Description
The Japanese Threadsail is a slender, elongated goby characterized by its mottled brown and orange coloration, providing excellent camouflage on sandy or silty substrates. This bottom-dwelling species is often found in coastal waters, estuaries, and lower river reaches, making it adaptable to both freshwater and brackish environments. It is generally peaceful but can be territorial with conspecifics in smaller tanks.
