Description
The Japanese Sardinella (*Sardinella zunasi*) is a schooling, pelagic marine fish found in the coastal waters of the Western Pacific. Primarily a filter feeder, it consumes planktonic crustaceans and phytoplankton. Due to its large size and schooling requirements, it is an expert-level species, typically only suitable for very large public aquariums.
