Description
The Hispaniolan Gambusia is a small, slender livebearer endemic to the island of Hispaniola. It typically exhibits a silvery-grey body with distinct black spots on its caudal and dorsal fins, the latter often showing a yellow tint. While hardy and adaptable, males can be somewhat nippy towards other fish, especially those with long fins.
