Description
The Hawaiian Ladyfish (*Elops hawaiensis*) is a large, silvery, predatory fish found throughout the Indo-Pacific, including Hawaii. Known for its elongated body and deeply forked tail, it is a powerful and active swimmer that primarily preys on smaller fish and crustaceans. These euryhaline fish inhabit coastal waters, estuaries, and sometimes freshwater, making them adaptable but extremely challenging aquarium inhabitants due to their immense size and dietary needs.
