Description
The Hawaiian Hogfish is a large, robust wrasse endemic to the Hawaiian Islands, known for its distinctive pale body with horizontal reddish-brown stripes and bright yellow fins. It often displays a prominent black spot at the base of its dorsal fin. This active carnivore requires a spacious saltwater aquarium and is a striking addition to a large FOWLR (Fish Only With Live Rock) setup.
