Description
Betta splendens, commonly known as the Siamese Fighting Fish, is renowned for its vibrant colors and elaborate fins, particularly in male specimens like the Halfmoon variety shown. These labyrinth fish are native to Southeast Asia and are popular in the aquarium hobby due to their striking appearance and relatively easy care requirements when housed individually. While beautiful, males are highly territorial and should not be housed together.
