Description
Guyanancistrus brevispinis is a small to medium-sized armored catfish native to the rivers and streams of the Guianas in South America. It features a flattened body, a suckermouth, and a mottled brown and black pattern, characteristic of many Loricariids. This species is primarily an algae eater but will also consume other plant matter and some protein.
