Description
The Gudgeon (*Gobio gobio*) is a small, bottom-dwelling freshwater fish native to Europe and parts of Asia. Characterized by its mottled brown coloration and barbels around its mouth, it is an omnivore that sifts through substrate for small invertebrates and detritus. While generally peaceful, it requires cool, well-oxygenated water and a spacious tank with a sandy or gravel bottom.
