Description
The Green Moray Eel is a large, robust marine eel known for its distinctive green coloration, which comes from a yellow mucus coating over its dark skin. These nocturnal predators are often found in rocky crevices and coral reefs throughout the Western Atlantic, ambushing fish, crustaceans, and cephalopods. Due to their significant size and predatory nature, they require very large, specialized aquariums and are suitable only for expert aquarists.
