Description
The Green Chromide is a large, attractive cichlid native to the brackish and freshwater estuaries of India and Sri Lanka. It features a greenish-yellow body adorned with dark vertical bars and numerous iridescent white spots, giving it a pearl-like appearance. This species is known for its relatively peaceful nature for a cichlid, especially when kept in appropriate conditions and groups, but can be territorial during breeding.
