Description
The Gray Redhorse is a large, bottom-dwelling freshwater fish native to the Gulf Slope drainages of North America. It has a silvery-gray body with yellowish fins and a subterminal mouth for feeding on benthic invertebrates and detritus. Due to its size and specific habitat requirements, it is considered an expert-level species, primarily suited for very large specialized aquariums or outdoor ponds.
