Description

The Grass Carp is a very large, fast-growing freshwater fish native to Eastern Asia, primarily known for its herbivorous diet of aquatic vegetation. It is widely introduced globally for biological weed control in ponds and lakes. Due to its immense size, reaching up to 4 feet, it is unsuitable for most home aquariums and requires very large ponds or public aquarium settings.
