Description

The Gossamer Blenny is a small, hardy saltwater fish recognized by its distinctive cirri (whisker-like appendages) around its head and mouth. It is primarily an herbivore, constantly grazing on filamentous algae, making it a beneficial addition to a mature reef or fish-only aquarium. While generally peaceful with most tankmates, it can exhibit territorial behavior towards other blennies or similar bottom-dwelling fish if not given adequate space and hiding spots.
