Description

The Goldback Damsel is a hardy and attractive saltwater fish, characterized by its light body, a prominent black spot near the pectoral fin, and vibrant yellow coloration on its dorsal fin and caudal peduncle. While generally considered one of the more peaceful damsels, it can still exhibit territorial behavior, especially towards similar-looking or smaller, timid tankmates. It thrives in a well-established reef or fish-only aquarium with plenty of rockwork for hiding.
