Description
The Altolamprologus compressiceps is a unique Tanganyikan cichlid, recognized by its laterally compressed body which allows it to navigate narrow rock crevices. This predatory species is territorial but can be kept in a community tank with other robust Tanganyikan cichlids. The 'Gold' form exhibits a beautiful golden-yellow hue.
