Description
The Gold Blotch Grouper is a large, predatory marine fish characterized by its greyish-brown body and a prominent golden-yellow blotch or stripe on its upper flank. This solitary species is found in rocky and sandy bottoms, preying on smaller fish and invertebrates. Due to its significant size and predatory nature, it requires an extremely large aquarium and is suitable only for expert aquarists.
