Description
The Glider Flyingfish is a pelagic species renowned for its ability to leap from the water and glide for extended distances using its large, wing-like pectoral fins. Found in tropical and subtropical oceans globally, they primarily feed on zooplankton. Due to their highly specialized open-ocean lifestyle and need to 'fly', these fish are not suitable for home aquariums and are rarely, if ever, kept in captivity.
