Description

The Giant Betta is a selectively bred strain of the popular Betta splendens, known for its significantly larger size compared to standard bettas. While males are highly territorial and aggressive towards other males, they can be kept with certain peaceful, non-fin-nipping tankmates in a spacious aquarium. They are labyrinth fish, meaning they can breathe atmospheric air, and thrive in warm, well-filtered water with plenty of hiding spots.
