Description
The Fourlined Tonguesole is a marine flatfish known for its elongated, oval body and excellent camouflage, allowing it to blend seamlessly with sandy or muddy substrates. It is a bottom-dwelling ambush predator, with both eyes located on one side of its head. This species requires a mature saltwater aquarium with a soft sand bed for burrowing.
