Description
The Firetail Gudgeon is a small, peaceful freshwater fish native to eastern Australia, known for the reddish coloration on its fins and tail, especially prominent in males. They are generally hardy but appreciate well-oxygenated water and a planted aquarium with plenty of hiding spots. While mostly peaceful, males can display territorial behavior towards each other during breeding.
