Description
The Fine Flounder, represented here by the European Flounder, is a unique flatfish species characterized by its camouflaged, flattened body and eyes located on one side of its head. It is a bottom-dwelling predator, often burying itself in sand or mud to ambush small fish and invertebrates. This species requires a specialized aquarium setup with a soft substrate, excellent filtration, and stable brackish to marine conditions.
