Description
The Festive Parrotfish is a large, vibrantly colored marine fish known for its fused, beak-like teeth used to scrape algae from coral and rocks. Males display striking patterns of green, blue, and pink/purple. They are important grazers in coral reef ecosystems and require a very large aquarium with ample rockwork for grazing.
