Description
Aphyosemion elegans is a stunning killifish species, with males displaying vibrant red and green patterns across their bodies and fins, while females are more subtly colored. Originating from the Congo Basin, these small fish thrive in well-planted aquariums with stable, slightly acidic water conditions. They are peaceful but best kept in species-only tanks or with very calm, non-competitive tankmates.
