Description

The Ehrenberg's Snapper is a robust, silvery fish characterized by a prominent black spot below the soft-rayed portion of its dorsal fin and several yellowish horizontal stripes. This predatory species inhabits coastal reefs and rocky areas across the Indo-Pacific, growing to a considerable size. It requires a very large aquarium and is best suited for experienced aquarists.
