Description

The Eastern Longfin Goby, also known as the Hi-Fin Red Banded Goby, is a small, peaceful marine fish recognized by its distinctive elongated first dorsal fin. It typically inhabits sandy bottoms near coral reefs in the Indo-Pacific, often forming a symbiotic relationship with pistol shrimp. Its pale, mottled body provides excellent camouflage against the sand.
