Description
The Doubleline Eelpout is a deep-sea marine fish native to the cold waters of the North Pacific. It is a benthic carnivore, primarily feeding on crustaceans, polychaetes, and other invertebrates found on the ocean floor. Due to its specific requirements for extremely cold, deep-sea conditions, this species is exceptionally challenging to maintain and is only suitable for expert aquarists with highly specialized cold-water systems, typically in public aquariums.
