Description

The Crosshatch Butterflyfish (*Chaetodon xanthurus*) is a striking marine fish recognized by its white body with a distinctive black crosshatch pattern and bright yellow fins. This semi-aggressive omnivore requires a mature saltwater aquarium of at least 75 gallons with stable parameters. While beautiful, it is not considered reef-safe as it will nip at corals and other sessile invertebrates.
