Description
The Crimson Snapper, also known as the Emperor Red Snapper, is a large, predatory marine fish found throughout the Indo-Pacific. Juveniles exhibit striking red and white bands, which typically fade to a more uniform reddish-brown as they mature. Due to their immense size and predatory nature, they require extremely large aquariums and are considered an expert-level species for dedicated marine aquarists.
