Description

The Crenated Silver Dollar is a large, disc-shaped characin known for its shimmering silver body and peaceful, schooling nature. Native to the Amazon and Orinoco basins, this omnivorous species requires a spacious aquarium with plenty of swimming room. While generally peaceful, they can be prone to fin-nipping with very long-finned tankmates.
