Description
The Common Carp is a large, robust freshwater fish native to Central Asia and Europe, now found worldwide due to introductions. Characterized by its large scales, deep body, and barbels around its mouth, it is a bottom-dwelling omnivore. Due to its immense adult size, the Common Carp is primarily suited for large outdoor ponds rather than typical home aquariums.
