Description
The Common Carp is a large, hardy freshwater fish native to Europe and Asia, recognized by its robust body, large scales, and barbels. While juveniles can be temporarily housed in very large aquariums, adults are best suited for spacious outdoor ponds due to their significant size and waste production. They are omnivorous bottom-feeders, consuming a wide variety of plant matter, insects, and detritus.
