Description
The Cockatoo Dwarf Cichlid is a popular and colorful South American cichlid known for its distinctive dorsal fin, especially in males. Females, like the one pictured, are typically smaller and less vibrantly colored. They are territorial, especially during breeding, and prefer tanks with plenty of hiding spots and soft, acidic water.
