Description
The Cockatoo Dwarf Cichlid is a popular and colorful South American cichlid known for the distinctive elongated rays on its dorsal fin, resembling a cockatoo's crest. Males display vibrant colors, especially in their fins, and can be territorial, particularly during breeding. They thrive in well-planted aquariums with plenty of hiding spots and soft, acidic water.
