Description

The Climbing Galaxias is a slender, elongated freshwater fish native to New Zealand and parts of Australia, known for its ability to climb wet surfaces. It thrives in cool, clear, fast-flowing streams, where its mottled brown body provides excellent camouflage. Primarily a nocturnal predator, it feeds on aquatic invertebrates and small fish.
