Description

The Clearwing Flyingfish is a pelagic marine species renowned for its ability to glide long distances out of water using its large, clear pectoral fins. These schooling fish inhabit tropical and subtropical oceans worldwide. Due to their specialized needs for vast open water and specific diet, they are not suitable for home aquariums and are rarely, if ever, kept in captivity outside of very large public aquariums.
