Description
The Chisel Toothcarp (*Orestias cuvieri*) was a large, predatory toothcarp endemic to the high-altitude Lake Titicaca in South America. Known for its distinctive chisel-like teeth, it was a significant piscivore in its native ecosystem. This species is now considered extinct, primarily due to the introduction of invasive trout species that outcompeted and preyed upon it.
