Description

Ancistrus chagresi is a small, peaceful armored catfish known for its distinctive bristly appendages on the snout, especially prominent in males. Originating from the Chagres River basin in Panama, it is an excellent algae eater and a valuable addition to most community aquariums. They thrive in well-oxygenated tanks with plenty of hiding spots and driftwood.
