Description
The California Clingfish is a small, bottom-dwelling marine fish known for its flattened body and a large suction cup on its underside, formed by modified pelvic fins. This allows it to cling tightly to rocks and kelp in turbulent intertidal zones. They are typically mottled brown or reddish-brown, providing excellent camouflage.
