The Brown Meagre (*Sciaena umbra*) is a large, silvery-grey marine fish with a distinctive high dorsal fin and a yellow-tipped caudal fin. It is a predatory species found in the Eastern Atlantic and Mediterranean, often inhabiting rocky bottoms and seagrass beds. Due to its significant adult size, it is rarely kept in home aquariums.
