Description

Bristlenose Plecos are popular freshwater bottom-dwellers known for their algae-eating habits and unique "bristles" on the snout of mature males. They are peaceful and relatively small, making them suitable for many community aquariums. The fish in the image appears to be a long-finned variety, often referred to as a Longfin Bristlenose Pleco.
