Description
The Bristlenose Pleco is a popular and peaceful freshwater catfish known for its algae-eating habits and unique 'bristles' or tentacles on its snout, especially prominent in males. They are excellent scavengers and help keep the tank clean, preferring tanks with plenty of driftwood and hiding spots. This species is a great addition to most community aquariums.
