Description

The Scrawled Cowfish (Acanthostracion quadricornis) is a distinctive saltwater fish known for its box-like body and prominent 'horns' above its eyes. It is an omnivore that grazes on algae and small invertebrates found in its natural reef and seagrass habitats. This species can release a potent toxin (ostracitoxin) when stressed, which can be lethal to other tank inhabitants.
