Description
The Boruca Pencilfish is a slender, silvery characin endemic to the Pacific slope rivers of Costa Rica. It is characterized by distinctive red spots or dashes along its flanks and a somewhat elongated body. This peaceful omnivore thrives in clear, flowing freshwater environments.
