Description

The Blue-spotted Cornetfish is a remarkably long and slender marine fish, easily identified by its elongated body and a distinctive whip-like filament extending from its tail. This predatory species ambushes small fish and crustaceans, often found camouflaged among coral reefs, seagrass beds, or sandy bottoms. Due to its potential to reach over five feet in length, it is generally unsuitable for typical home aquariums and thrives best in very large public aquariums.
