Description
The Blacktail Snapper is a robust, predatory marine fish characterized by its reddish-pink body, bright yellow pelvic and pectoral fins, and a distinctive dark red to blackish caudal fin. It is a popular food fish found in coral reefs and lagoons across the Indo-Pacific. In aquariums, it requires a large tank and is best kept with other large, semi-aggressive tankmates.
