Description

The Black Axillary Mojarra is a silvery, deep-bodied fish found in the coastal waters, estuaries, and lagoons of the Eastern Pacific. It is characterized by its highly protrusible mouth and a black spot at the base of its pectoral fin. Reaching up to 12 inches, it requires a large brackish or marine aquarium.
