Description
The Black-axil Chromis is a hardy and peaceful damselfish known for its iridescent blue-green body and a distinctive black spot at the base of its pectoral fin. They are active swimmers that thrive in groups, adding vibrant color and movement to a reef or fish-only saltwater aquarium. This species is often confused with the Blue-green Chromis (*Chromis viridis*) but can be distinguished by its black pectoral fin axil.
