Description
The Bighead Pupfish is a small, hardy freshwater fish endemic to the unique Cuatro Ciénegas Basin in Mexico. Known for its relatively large head, it thrives in warm, alkaline spring waters, feeding on detritus and small invertebrates. Males can be territorial, especially during breeding.
