Description
The Bigeye Poacher (Agonopsis vulsa) is a unique, armored marine fish found in the cold waters of the Eastern Pacific Ocean. This benthic species inhabits sandy or muddy bottoms, where its elongated, bony-plated body and flattened head provide excellent camouflage. It is a specialized carnivore, preying on small crustaceans and invertebrates found within its substrate.
