Description
The Big-headed Gudgeon is a robust, bottom-dwelling fish characterized by its large head and mottled brown coloration, providing excellent camouflage. Native to southeastern Australia, it is an ambush predator that thrives in temperate freshwater environments. While generally peaceful towards larger tankmates, it will prey on very small fish and invertebrates.
